PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy matters to us. Here’s how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Effective Date: October 22, 2026

Information We Collect

We collect what you give us when you get in touch:

  • Your name, phone number, email address and property address, when you fill in the Free Estimate form, book a call, or phone or email us.
  • What you tell us about the job: the property, the roof and what you need.
  • Drawings and documents a builder uploads when asking us to bid.
  • A resume, if you send one about a job.
  • Photos and video we take of your roof during an inspection or a job.

We do not ask for financial information. Financing applications are made on Financeit’s own website, under Financeit’s privacy policy.

This website uses Google Analytics to see how it is used: which pages are visited, how visitors found us, and when someone sends a request or taps our phone number. The agency that runs our online ads also measures which of our Google and Microsoft ads bring in calls and requests. If you arrive from one of those ads, the phone number on the site may be a tracking number that rings straight through to our office. Like any website, the servers that deliver it also keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security.

How We Use Your Information

We use it to reply to you, prepare estimates and quotes, book inspections, calls and work, carry out the job and stand behind it, see which of our ads bring in work, and keep the records a business has to keep. We do not have a mailing list. If we start one, we will ask you first.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only:

  • with your insurer, when we are helping with a claim and you have asked us to;
  • with subcontractors or suppliers working on your job, and only what they need;
  • with the companies that run our systems for us: our website host, our office database and our email provider;
  • with the agency that runs our online ads, which receives a copy of requests sent through this website and a record of calls to our tracking numbers, to see which ads bring in work;
  • when the law requires it.

Financeit receives only what you enter on its own website. Google and Microsoft receive the website use described under Cookies. When you send a request through the site, Google also receives your email address and phone number in scrambled form, so it can tell whether the request came from one of our ads.

Data Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection. What you send us is kept in our office system, and only the staff who need it can see it. That system’s database is hosted by Supabase in the United States, so your information may be stored outside Canada. Information held by Google, Microsoft and the tools our ad agency uses may also be stored outside Canada. No method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

Cookies

This website uses cookies from Google Analytics, which let it tell one visit from the next. It also uses advertising cookies from Google and Microsoft, which note when a visit came from one of our ads and may be used to show our ads to past visitors, and a call-tracking cookie that remembers which ad brought you. A fraud check also records visits, such as IP address and device type, so we don’t pay for fake clicks on our ads. These cookies hold random ID numbers, not your name or contact details.

You can block or delete them in your browser’s settings, turn Google Analytics off with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and turn off ads based on your browsing at myadcenter.google.com (Google), account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings (Microsoft) or youradchoices.ca (other ad companies in Canada). The site works the same either way.

Your Rights

Under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain it
  • Withdraw consent for the collection or use of your personal information at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@premiumroofingltd.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 business days in accordance with BC PIPA requirements.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, services, or applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit through links on our website.

Children’s Privacy
