Complete cable coverage from the gutter bottom, through the full length of every downspout, to the drain outlet. No dead spots where ice can bridge and block flow.

Reduced output as temperature rises. Polymer begins to contract, reducing current pathways.

Because the cable self-regulates, it only draws significant power when temperatures are near freezing — not during deep cold snaps or warm spells.
Yes. Heat trace is one of the most common retrofit installations we perform. Cable is installed inside your existing gutters and downspouts with minimal disruption. The only new component is a dedicated electrical circuit, which we coordinate with a licensed electrician.
